To change your Oakwood password please visit out Self Service Password Management Portal



Your Oakwood password allows you to log-on to the PC's on campus, it allows you to access the library database, and it is also gives you access to your Office 365 account

  • If you know your current password, you can simply enter your credentials and Login to change your password
  • If you don't know your current password, but you have enrolled in your security questions, then  click Reset Password.
  • If you don't know your current password, and did not enroll with the self service website, you can email the IT Helpdesk at Helpdesk@oakwood.edu to have your password set to the default.  You can also contact the IT Helpdesk by phone at 256-726-7464.  Once the password has been set to the default, you can simply login normally with the temporary password and change it from their. (You cannot use the temporary password to login to any of the Oakwood University systems)


If you know your current password, you can simply enter your credentials and Login to change your password

    1.   Enter your Old Password  then follow the criteria for a new password.

    2.   Click Change Password once all options have been approved with a green check.

    


If you don't know your current password, but you have enrolled in your security questions, then  Click Reset Password.



    1.   Enter your User Name and Click Continue.

    2.   Answer the questions presented before you.  Click on Continue once all questions have been answered. 




    3.   Follow the criteria presented for your New Password. 

    4.   Click Change Password once all options have been approved with a green check.
